Presentation Summary: 

Heather Ballenger, Public Works Director for Walnut Creek, will provide an overview of the City of Walnut Creek’s Capital Improvement Program and Capital Budget Development, along with the highlights of the Capital Budget during the next two-year budget cycle.  

Heather's Bio: 

Heather Ballenger has served as Walnut Creek’s Public Works Director since 2007. Ballenger has over 30 years of experience, including as the Deputy Director of the Contra Costa County Public Works Department. She was the 2003 President of the Northern California chapter of APWA, and was named the 2015 Public Works Director of the Year. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from California State University, Fresno and is a registered civil engineer.
