EBME October Meeting: EBMUD's Water Supply Portfolio for the Future

EBMUD is focused on developing a diverse water supply portfolio to address the future water supply challenges.  These projects include water conservation, water recycling, water transfers, groundwater recharge and extraction, and multi-agency regional projects. I would like to present the various elements of EBMUD’s water supply portfolio.  

Presenter: Hasan Abdullah, P. E. – Mr. Hasan Abdullah is a Senior Civil Engineer at East Bay Municipal Utility District. Mr. Abdullah has 25 years of experience in project management and engineering. He has lead several water supply, treatment, and water transfer projects for EBMUD including regional multi-agency projects, surface water, groundwater, and desalination projects. Mr. Abdullah has a Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (I.I.T.) in Madras, India and a Masters Degree in Environmental Engineering from Clarkson University in New York. He has California professional engineering licenses in chemical and civil engineering.
