About the Event
Noah Budnick, Senior Management Analyst with the City of Berkeley Transportation division will present. Noah helps people design and implement projects, programs and policies to make transportation and public space safe, equitable, environmentally friendly economically productive and fun. As a staunch advocate for safe transportation options for all modalities including walking, cycling and public transportation he has dedicated much of his career to promoting policies such as Vision Zero aimed at eliminating traffic fatalities and injuries.
Over the last decade the City of Berkeley has transformed the downtown area to make it easier for thousands to navigate using multiple modes of transportation. These changes include protected bike lanes, dedicated bus-only lanes, and pedestrian safety measures with the goal of preventing traffic fatalities and injuries.
